Dr Glen Richards

Chairman & Director

Glen has a long history in fostering early stage businesses including his Shark Tank investments. As a professional investor and highly successful entrepreneur Glen has taken a very active mentor role with The Wholey Milk Company and is the one behind the strategic direction and commercialisation of the technology.

Glen has previously worked with the Founder and CEO on an avocado project. Glen is a Veterinary honours graduate of the University of Queensland and holds a Research Masters from James Cook University.

Jeff is the inventor of the milk technology and is an agricultural engineer with over 30 years’ experience in global agribusiness. Jeff has a background in innovation and has taken food technology projects from concept to commercialisation before. In 2002, Jeff developed sliced apples for the international market and more recently has invented and commercialised an avocado processing technology that produces cut avocado that does not go brown, in a totally natural way. Jeff has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland.

Ash was a strategy consultant with Accenture in Europe/USA, before running a VC fund and co founding two SaaS companies, #team and #stratapp. Ash has an MBA from Deakin, a Graduate Diploma of Information Systems from QUT, a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from RMIT and is a RAAF officer training graduate from the Australian Defense Force Academy.

John has 20+ years of commercial and sell side research experience with extensive expertise in providing financial modelling, strategic advice and investor relations services for emerging companies. John’s previous CFO roles have included SmartVet Holdings, Amazonia and SmartClinics . John has an MBA from the AGSM and is a graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon.

Ross has 30 year’s experience in commercial roles in the FMCG Industry. Ross has extensive experience dealing with Retailers, Distributors, Manufacturers and Quick Serve Restaurants in Australia, Asia, Europe and the UK. Ross has been involved with the Marketing and Selling of numerous well known brands such as Kraft, Toblerone, Vegemite, KR Smallgoods and Gourmet Garden. Ross is also a Director of Naturo All Natural Technologies. Ross has a Bachelor of Marketing and a Diploma in Export Management from the Queensland University of Technology.

Andrew has over 20 years FMCG experience across, General Management, Supply Chain and Operations reinforcing his ability to provide operational, tactical and strategic guidance to the organisation. Prior to Australia, he worked in the UK for both food manufacturer Northern Foods and food retailer OCADO, where he was a key part of the team that developed and launched the UK’s most successful internet grocery business. Andrew was COO at Gourmet Garden for 11 years growing the business from $20m to $100m, he was then CEO of COYO which quadrupled it’s size in 3.5 years. In 2020 Andrew joined the Sunshine Coast Council as Head of Economic Development.

Bruce Donnison

Bruce has more than 35 years’ experience in the Dairy Industry, ranging from dairy farming in New Zealand, manufacturing / supply chain systems and the commercial parts of the industry throughout New Zealand/ Australia. He led the Australian 50/50 joint venture between Fonterra and Bonlac Foods Ltd in 2003 which subsequently moved to the 100% formation of Fonterra Australia in 2005. Bruce continued a commercial career as Managing Director Ingredients for Fonterra Australia, responsible for farmer relationships, manufacturing and Ingredient sales and marketing and spent some time developing the Sustainability strategy for Fonterra in Auckland before returning to Australia to lead the Ingredients business.
